Simply take the Life-Point AED plus defibrillator to the unconscious, unresponsive and non-breathing patient then attach the defib pads to the patients chest and follow the voice instruction. The Life-Point AED plus defibrillator takes all the guess work out of managing an out of hospital cardiac arrest. Turn the device on, attach the pads to the chest and follow the voice prompt. It’s all as easy as 1 2 3.
The green indicator (pictured on the center right) is use to indicate the battery status. Green – charged & Red – Battery needs replacement.
The pads connector (pictured centre left) is used for connecting adult and child defibrillation pads. When the child pads are connected the energy delivered by the defibrillator is reduced automatically to a safe level for children.
Both the adult and child defibrillation pads need to be replaced every 2 years.
The LifePoint AED plus defibrillator has a 5 years manufacturers warranty.
The LifePoint AED plus defibrillator battery last up to 5 years. (The manufacturer does not recommend regularly turning the defibrillator on and off other than in an emergency situation, doing so will reduce the battery life.)
